        Isira is an exclusive Sinhala channel Broadcasting From 6.00am to 6.55 pm daily.At present Isira joins up with TNL TV after 6.55 pm, to provide A simulcast transmission. Very soon Isira will provide light entertainment after 7.00pm as per request of our listeners, until 6.00am. Today request programs and News flashes are very popular with our numerous listeners around the country. The news is prepared from our TV news desk in Colombo including on the spot reporting. The request program is compiled from telephone calls and post cards. Our mid afternoon "Non Stop" music from 12 noon to 2 pm has been adopted by most of the other Radio stations. The longest running political program on Sri Lankan TV, "Jana Hada" Is Broadcast on Sunday after noon (13hrs). Yes Isira is unique because we transmit on 88 & 89mhz frequencies. All imported buses from Japan has mobile radios that cover from 76 to 90Mhz. We are well within the limit, unlike all new Radio stations clamped up from 90 to 107 mhz.
